Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for courses or using services provided by Jacin Learning Center ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not register for our courses.

2. Course Registration

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register for courses. For certain courses, additional eligibility criteria may apply as specified in the course description.

2.2 Registration Process

• Complete the registration form with accurate information
• Provide required documentation (NRIC/FIN for certification)
• Make full payment to confirm registration
• Receive confirmation email with course details

2.3 Acceptance

Registration is subject to availability and our acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse registration at our discretion.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Course Fees

3.2 Payment Methods

We accept:

• Bank transfer
• PayNow
• Credit/Debit card
• SkillsFuture Credit (for eligible courses)
• Corporate payment arrangements (for company-sponsored training)

3.3 Payment Deadline

Full payment must be received at least 3 working days before the course start date. Late payments may result in cancellation of registration.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Participant

4.2 Transfer to Another Date

Participants may request to transfer to another course date, subject to:

• Request made at least 3 days before course start
• Availability in the new course date
• One-time transfer only (no further changes)
• Transfer must be used within 6 months

4.3 Cancellation by Jacin Learning Center

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to:

• Insufficient enrollment
• Instructor unavailability
• Force majeure events

In such cases, participants will receive full refund or option to transfer to another date. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred (travel, accommodation, etc.).

4.4 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days to the original payment method.

5. Course Attendance & Certification

5.1 Attendance Requirements

5.2 Assessment

Participants must complete all assessments and achieve the minimum passing grade (as specified per course) to receive certification.

5.3 Certificate Issuance

Certificates will be issued within 14 working days after successful completion. Lost certificates may be replaced for an administrative fee of $30.

6. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to:

• Arrive on time and attend all sessions
• Respect instructors and fellow participants
• Maintain a professional learning environment
• Not disrupt classes or engage in inappropriate behavior
• Comply with safety guidelines and venue rules

We reserve the right to remove participants who violate the code of conduct without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, content, and documentation are the intellectual property of Jacin Learning Center and protected by copyright laws.

Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use course materials without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jacin Learning Center is not liable for:

• Loss of personal belongings at training venues
• Injury or accidents during courses (except due to our negligence)
• Consequential damages arising from course participation
• Delays or cancellations due to force majeure

Our total liability shall not exceed the course fees paid.

9. SkillsFuture Credit & Subsidies

9.1 Eligibility

SkillsFuture Credit and government subsidies are subject to SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) eligibility criteria and terms.

9.2 Claims Process

Participants are responsible for verifying eligibility and submitting claims. We provide assistance but do not guarantee claim approval.

10. Data Protection

Your personal data is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved in Singapore courts.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
